Anything that a person, for some reason, tries to hide from his interlocutor, is revealed by his behavior.
Experts say nonverbal cues can reveal more than words. It's just important to have some idea of the hidden messages.
What to pay attention to when communicating with a person
It is believed that not everyone can control body language – postures, gestures, behavior.
All these manners reveal hidden intentions and desires.
For example, you can learn not only about the bad intentions of the interlocutor who wants to deceive you, but also about likes and, more importantly, dislikes.
If a person is trying to hide the fact that he doesn't like you, he will behave something like this:
- when making eye contact, he will lower his face;
- during a conversation he will purse his lips, chin, and frown on one side of his face;
- during a conversation he will not turn towards you completely;
- he will often close his eyes, touch his face, and rub his nose or the bridge of his nose while listening to you;
- if he shakes his leg, taps his fingers on the table or his foot on the floor.
If you notice these signs, do not pretend that you know your counterpart's train of thought.
Continue the dialogue, but, already knowing the person’s real disposition, you will not allow him to achieve his goal.
