There is another opinion, according to which the chances of being bitten by a tick depend on the blood type.
Thus, as studies have shown, the second blood group is of greatest interest to ticks (36% of all those bitten that took part in the experiment). The first blood group is in second place, with an indicator of 15%, and the third blood group closes the “top three”.
Safety rules in nature
If you don't want to get bitten by a tick when you go for a walk in the woods, choose clothes that will cover your body as much as possible.
Another life hack: it will be easier to notice a tick on bright or light-colored clothing.
Don't forget about vaccinations against tick-borne encephalitis, and when visiting recreation centers and other public places, make sure that they have a certificate of acaricidal treatment.
