Many people have had to deal with rude people.
It is very unpleasant to communicate with a person who insults the interlocutor.
Usually people who are forced to engage in conversation with a boor are at a loss and don’t know what to do.
As a result, some suffer psychological defeat, while others begin to be rude in response, which can hardly be called a victory.
So, what rules should you follow when dealing with a rude person?
Try to understand the boor
First, you need to figure out why the rude person is behaving this way.
Perhaps this person has recently experienced a stressful situation.
It is possible that he has complexes and wants to assert himself.
A person who has correctly analyzed the behavior of a boor usually stops getting upset and offended.
On the contrary, a feeling of pity for the interlocutor appears. Anger and the desire to "punish the enemy" disappear.
Don't be rude in response
Often, boors want to provoke people into a response. Giving such a "gift" to a boor is absolutely forbidden.
How should we act then? It depends on the situation.
In some cases, you can simply remain silent, ignore the boor and walk past.
In other situations, it's worth saying, "What happened to you? Do you need help?"
The ideal option is to make a witty remark that will put the boor in an awkward position without humiliation or insults.
Of course, wit is not always "switched on". But if a sense of humor is still able to be shown, then the rude person will be defeated without "forbidden methods".
