Residents of the Belarusian capital were told where they can buy a live spruce or pine tree this year and were given the addresses of Christmas tree markets.
This year they began their work on December 20 and are open in all regional centers and other large populated areas.
Vladimir Grinevich, the leading engineer for standardization, certification and secondary use of the Minsk State Forestry and Industrial Association, told Minsk residents where they can buy a New Year tree.
As the specialist explained, forestry enterprises plan to sell at least 40 thousand spruce trees.
Also on sale were 1,900 New Year bouquets and about 1,000 New Year trees in tubs or vases.

Here, Christmas tree markets are organized in Kolodishchi, Valeryanovo and Senitsa.

In the capital, forestry enterprises of Minsk region offer their goods at the following addresses:
- Timiryazev st., 118 (near the Lesnoy Domik shopping area);
- Bagration st., 70;
- Leonida Levina St., 8 (near the Santa shopping center);
- Dzerzhinsky Avenue, 104 (near the Titan shopping center);
- Dzerzhinsky st., 126 (near the Prostor store);
- Logoisky tract, 52 (near the Lesnoy Domik trading platform).
The Republican Forest Selection and Seed Center organized two more Christmas tree markets.
