A serious traffic accident occurred on Saturday, November 16, on the Minsk ring road.
At about half past four in the evening, two trucks and a car collided. One person was injured.
The press service of the capital's State Traffic Inspectorate reported the incident on its official Telegram channel.
According to the data released by the department, at the specified time a Mercedes-Benz truck was driving along the outer ring of the Moscow Ring Road.
At the 54th kilometer, the 53-year-old driver of the car began to change lanes, but was not sure that the maneuver was safe.
As a result, he collided with a Ford passenger car and a MAZ truck, whose trailer overturned as a result of the impact.
The driver of the Belarusian truck was injured and taken to one of the Minsk hospitals.
Employees of the Pervomaysky District Department of Internal Affairs of the city's State Traffic Inspectorate were working at the scene of the accident.
In connection with the incident, the State Traffic Inspectorate once again reminded drivers that when changing lanes, it is necessary to ensure that the maneuver is safe.
If there are other vehicles moving in the same direction in other lanes, you must give way to them.
