On Wednesday evening, November 12, a massive traffic accident occurred on the Minsk ring road.
In the area of the 41st kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, a “train” of five colliding cars was formed.
In that location, due to the accident, traffic was difficult from Zatsen Street in the direction of Pobediteley Avenue.
The press service of the capital's State Traffic Inspectorate reported on the incident, which took place at approximately 17:40, on its official Telegram channel.
According to the agency, the formation of the “train” was caused by failure to maintain a safe distance.
As a result, five foreign cars collided: two Skodas, a Lada, a Volvo and a Volkswagen.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident, but the cars received mechanical damage.
Employees of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk were working at the scene of the accident.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate added: traffic on the section of the Moscow Ring Road where the accident described above occurred has been restored.
