An international standard swimming pool was ceremoniously opened in the Belarusian capital.
Alexander Lukashenko spoke at the event. And then he reminded the mayor of Minsk Vladimir Kukharev about the task of architectural development of the city.
You owe me. You promised to divide Minsk into pieces, and the architects should tell us how to polish it up , the President's press service quotes him as saying.
He initiated an inspection of the “main places” of the metropolis, especially in its central part.
I have always kept these areas, but without overloading them, we need to see what to add there. But the architects should say this, - said the head of state.
In turn, Kukharev noted that work is being carried out not only in the center, but also on the outskirts of Minsk.
That's what I'm saying: divide it into pieces. Not even into districts, but even smaller ones. And see, Lukashenko clarified.
The mayor agreed, adding that “we work in microdistricts.”
As for the location where the swimming pool was opened, according to the President, they “based it on practice” and “brought it to mind.”
He paid special attention to the landscaping (planting shrubs) of the slopes, especially along the railway and near interchanges.
The mayor said in this regard that the relevant work is being carried out and much has already been done.
