On November 22, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko met with students.
Students from the capital's universities specializing in the humanities were invited to a meeting in the format of "Open Microphone with the President" at the Minsk State Linguistic University.
Answering questions from young people, the head of state assessed the role of the media and gave advice to those who want to know the truth.
The President noted that “the role of the media today is great,” and journalists are “at the forefront.”
Alexander Lukashenko also gave recommendations to those interested in receiving reliable information.
If you want to know the truth, read and watch state media, BELTA quotes the President as saying.
According to the head of state, the majority of the republic’s population trusts state information sources.
Therefore, Lukashenko advises to treat them very carefully.
And one must be especially attentive and careful during the information war, the President emphasized.
And journalists should help society figure out where the truth is and where it isn’t.
