How a Minsk resident lost money

While using a messenger, a resident of the capital of Belarus noticed an advertisement promising a cash reward for completing a survey.

It was noted that 100 BYN would be paid for the completed task.

The user followed the link. As a result, a questionnaire appeared, in which it was suggested to enter bank card details, as well as codes from received SMS messages.

The man completed all these actions, and after some time he learned that funds had been debited from his card account.

A Minsk resident lost more than 6 thousand Belarusian rubles.

After this, a resident of the capital contacted the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk and reported the theft of funds. A criminal case was opened.

Law enforcement officers have issued an important reminder to Belarusians: do not click on suspicious links in messengers. If you do, you may end up on a fraudulent Internet resource.
