On Monday, November 25, a serious accident occurred on the Minsk Ring Road, the cause of which was a fallen cat.
The press service of the capital's State Traffic Inspectorate reported on the incident, which took place at about 16:45, on its official Telegram channel.
According to the data released by the department, at the specified time a Volkswagen was driving along the outer ring of the Moscow Ring Road.
Around the 24th kilometer, a 24-year-old driver of a foreign car reacted to a suddenly appearing obstacle – a cat.
The animal, as noted, fell out of a car moving in the same direction.
To avoid hitting the four-legged animal, the guy took appropriate measures, but lost control of the car.
As a result, his car collided with the dividing barrier, after which it left the roadway.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident. However, the car sustained mechanical damage. There is no information about the cat's fate.
Employees of the traffic police department of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk were working at the scene of the road incident, the report says.
