On the morning of October 30, a traffic accident involving a minibus occurred in the capital of Belarus.
The driver of the Volkswagen did not give way to the minibus. As a result, a collision occurred.
Information about the accident was published on the Telegram channel of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
Details of the accident in Minsk
At approximately 07:30, the driver of a Volkswagen made a U-turn on Sukharevskaya Street.
The person driving the above-mentioned vehicle did not give way to a minibus moving in the oncoming lane.
As a result, Volkswagen collided with Mercedes.
There were no casualties as a result of the incident. However, both vehicles were damaged.
It was reported that representatives of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Department of the Frunzensky District Department of Internal Affairs of the Belarusian capital were working at the scene of the accident.
The State Traffic Inspectorate has issued the following reminder to Belarusians: when turning left or making a U-turn, the driver must give priority to vehicles that are moving straight or left on an equivalent road.
