How a young Minsk resident lost money
The guy told the law enforcement officers the following: he met a girl online. After some time, the guy invited his online interlocutor to go for a walk.
When the day of the scheduled meeting arrived, the girl asked the guy to lend her some money.
The interlocutor wrote that she urgently needs a certain amount of money to appear on her bank card.
The girl promised the guy that she would return the money during a personal meeting.
The young Minsk resident believed and made a transfer in the amount of 650 BYN.
Then the interlocutor simply stopped communicating, blocking the interlocutor.
The guy realized that he had been deceived and contacted the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs of the Belarusian capital. Law enforcement officers are conducting an investigation into the incident.
