The State Traffic Inspectorate of Minsk told pedestrians how to behave on the road in bad weather.
The recommendations are posted on the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate Telegram channel.
How pedestrians should behave on the road in bad weather
In bad weather, you should avoid using bicycles and personal mobility devices.
Before crossing the roadway, a pedestrian must make sure that drivers have noticed him and have managed to stop.
You should wear bright, high-visibility clothing; at night, you should use reflective elements.
It is also important to wear the right shoes. Inappropriate or slippery shoes can cause a fall.
When driving on a slippery road, do not make sudden movements, do not rush.
Compliance with the traffic rules will help to significantly reduce the risk of injuries and accidents on the roads in the autumn period, the Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate added.
