On Thursday evening, September 26, water problems arose in three districts of the Belarusian capital.
This situation was observed in the Oktyabrsky, Zavodskoy and Leninsky districts of Minsk.
As Belta writes , a decrease in pressure, deterioration in quality and even a lack of water were recorded in the named locations.
Experts explained the incident by damage to a main water pipeline with a diameter of 1,000 mm.
Work to restore normal water supply was carried out by employees of Minskvodokanal.
The organization apologized to residents of the areas in question for the temporary inconvenience.
And the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities reported that Minskvodokanal organized the delivery of water to all hospitals in the three specified districts.
By 11:30 p.m., the damage to the water main had been repaired, the city mayor’s office reported.
Minskvodokanal specialists carried out work to restore water supply to consumers in the three above-mentioned districts of the city.
In turn, the company’s Telegram channel reported that as of 23:30, the damage to the water supply system had been localized by Minskvodokanal employees.
The gradual restoration of water supply to consumers in the Leninsky, Oktyabrsky and Zavodskoy districts of the city of Minsk has begun, the report says.
