Man trapped in elevator shaft rescued in Minsk

On Friday morning, September 6, a serious incident occurred in the Belarusian capital. A man in trouble was being rescued.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus on its official Telegram channel, the citizen fell into an elevator shaft.

A passerby notified rescuers about this in the morning, the department noted.

According to him, there was a conscious man in the elevator shaft of an eight-story building under construction at a depth of about 6 meters.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations employees who promptly arrived at the specified address saved the victim using a fire belt and ropes.

The injured 43-year-old man was handed over to the ambulance crews who arrived at the scene.

After examination, they took the citizen, who had sustained injuries of varying severity, to the hospital.
