In Minsk, the average duration of hot water outages has been reduced.
This season it amounted to 10.2 days, BELTA reports with reference to the head of the Department of Municipal Economy and Energy of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Aleksandr Rakovshchik.
How the duration of hot water outages has been reduced in Minsk
As Rakovshchik said at the Minsk City Council of Deputies’ off-site training seminar at the Housing and Utilities Center, energy supply organizations were instructed to provide for an average hot water shutdown period of no more than 10 days, although the draft resolution called for 12.
A representative of the capital's mayor's office noted that this was the first time such a step had been taken.
Overall, we coped – on average, the citywide power outage lasts 10.2 days, BELTA quotes Rakovshchik as saying.
According to him, preparations for the autumn-winter period are ongoing, all activities are provided with funding and will be completed on time.
In total, 442 heat source readiness passports and 3.2 thousand heat energy consumer readiness passports must be registered.
Heating is switched on in stages. First of all, heat is supplied to kindergartens, schools, healthcare institutions and other social facilities.
Rakovshchik noted that not only the air temperature is taken into account, but also the actual situation in kindergartens, schools and hospitals, as well as citizens’ requests.
Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies Artem Tsuran noted that the topic of housing and communal services is of particular concern to citizens, so it is important for deputies to understand it. The goal of the training seminar is to familiarize the new composition of the Minsk City Council with the main areas of activity of enterprises.
According to Tsuran, the work of the housing and communal services is not limited to just servicing and preparing the housing stock for winter.
We will continue to delve into various issues of interaction. We see how many people come with requests on the topic of housing and communal services, - added the Chairman of the Minsk City Council.
The seminar participants visited the mini-CHP "Minskkommunteploseti" and the waste processing and sorting plant "Trostenetsky" under construction.
