Freedom is an internal state. A person can think differently, can pursue something that, as it seems to him, will give him the necessary feeling.
But in reality, he is trapping himself even further, making himself even more dependent than before. Gradually, he begins to understand that he did not act quite correctly, that he was mistaken in many ways. Naturally, he will have thoughts about how to change everything in the right direction now.
The individual will still want to become internally free, which, by the way, he can achieve. To do this, he needs to follow several pieces of advice.
Don't hold on to anything
There is no point in forming attachments. The fewer there are, the greater the freedom will be. There is no need to hold on to anyone, you should not see the meaning of life in someone.
No one can liberate a person, nothing can make him independent. Only he himself can achieve this, if he lives in harmony with himself, if he is interesting to himself.
See your true self
An individual knows about what surrounds him because he studies it in kindergarten, at school, in life in general. But he can know very little about himself.
He may not be aware of his desires and feelings, his true interests and preferences in everything. It is important to understand these points in order to remain true to himself, and therefore free.
Have your own opinion
It should be on any issue, although it may not be voiced, for example, when confidence in the rightness has not yet appeared. You should not allow anyone or anything to influence your perception, to change your idea of it.
It is necessary to remain true to yourself in any situation, not to be too soft in the hope of pleasing someone.
Choose
And you need to do this every day. You should give preference to useful or harmful habits, activity or passivity.
But a choice must always be made. Only then will it become clear that his freedom exists.
These actions will make a person feel free, understand that he is free. He will no longer have any desire to become different.
