On Friday, December 13, a very serious incident occurred in the city of Orsha (Vitebsk region of Belarus).
The dormitory was burning. They were rescuing a woman. Another 17 people, including children, were evacuated.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations press service reported the incident on its official Telegram channel.
According to information released by the department, rescuers were notified of smoke in the dormitory.
The building is located on Selitskogo Street. The Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately left for the specified address.
There, on the spot, they discovered that bedding was burning in one of the dormitory rooms.
From there, a woman born in 1956 was rescued from a room engulfed in flames.
Another 17 people, four of whom were children, were evacuated from the upper floors, the press service noted.
Currently, experts are determining the cause of the fire and clarifying all the circumstances that led to the fire.
