According to preliminary data, on November 16, two sisters from Belarus went on a hike to the Yedigel site in the Aladaglar Mountains.
The Turkish Emergency Management Agency and the Gendarmerie are currently conducting searches.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus confirmed this information.
Everything possible is being done, all available resources are being used, the Foreign Ministry stated.
They noted that Belarusian diplomats maintain contact with Turkish competent authorities and other interested parties.
We sincerely wish for a successful resolution of this difficult situation, the Foreign Ministry added.
