The Investigative Committee of Belarus reported new atrocities by Polish security forces against refugees.
This time, the beaten migrants – women – were discovered by the republic’s border guards in the Svisloch district of the Grodno region, which borders Poland.
The girls were found on the night of November 4 near the border. One of them, as reported by the Investigative Committee on its Telegram channel, is a citizen of Eritrea, the second is a citizen of Guinea.
According to the agency, one of the refugees found was unable to move, and the second was bleeding.
They were immediately taken to hospital for medical assistance. An investigative task force was working at the scene.
The investigator found out that these citizens were heading to Europe to reunite with their relatives.
But instead of helping them, Polish border guards beat the girls and then expelled them to the Belarusian side, the report says.
One of the foreigners suffered a spinal fracture, and the other suffered a laceration to her leg, the Investigative Committee reports.
He also draws attention to the fact that the crimes of Polish security forces are “carefully documented” and will be given a fundamental legal assessment.
