In the Drybin district, a man beat up post office visitors; one woman died.

What happened
Around 11:00 a.m. the police received a report that in the agro-town of Ryasno a 39-year-old man had caused a pogrom at the post office and beaten up several female visitors. The police immediately left for the scene.
At the same time, not far from the post office, after his day off, was the assistant to the operational duty officer of the operational duty service of the Dribin District Department of Internal Affairs, Aleksandr Kovalenko.
Hearing the screams, the policeman rushed to help, knocked the rod out of the attacker’s hands, which he was using to beat one of the visitors, disarmed the attacker and held him until his colleagues arrived.
A 71-year-old post office visitor died at the scene from her injuries, and another woman was hospitalized.
The attacker has been detained. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
