In Rechitsa, there was an incident with a pedestrian "under the influence". Having been stopped by traffic police officers, the citizen tried to pay off the protocol.
It would be better if he didn’t do this – the man made his life much more difficult.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reported the incident on its official Telegram channel.
According to the data released by the department, the 62-year-old drunk pedestrian was walking along the roadway at night.
At the same time, his clothing did not have reflective elements, the ministry noted.
The pedestrian was stopped by traffic police officers and told that they would draw up an administrative report against him.
The citizen did not want this so much that he offered to “negotiate” without drawing up documents, by handing over money.
The man did not respond to repeated warnings about criminal liability for giving a bribe, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The pedestrian placed cash on the dashboard of a service vehicle.
He was detained immediately after this act. An investigative task force was dispatched to the scene.
A criminal case has been opened on the facts of the incident, the press service summed up.
