On Friday, December 13, a fire broke out in the Belarus shopping center in Vitebsk.
Yesterday at 22:08, the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Telegram channel reported that the fire had been extinguished.
And a little more than an hour later, the Ministry of Health of our country reported the following on its Telegram channel: 15 victims needed medical assistance.
Information on victims of the fire in the shopping center
The Belarusian Ministry of Health quoted Mikhail Vishnevetsky, head of the State Healthcare Department of the Vitebsk Region.
According to this statement, after the fire in the shopping center, 15 people sought medical treatment in Vitebsk. It is known that 12 of them were hospitalized.
The victims went to the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital (8 people, 7 of whom were hospitalized), the Vitebsk Emergency Hospital (5 people, 4 of whom were hospitalized) and the Children's Regional Clinical Center.
As for the third medical institution, two children sought help there.
It is known that one child was hospitalized, and the second received outpatient care.
There were also reports of two victims whose condition is assessed as serious: they are patients of the Vokzal Regional Clinical Hospital.
