A fatal road accident occurred on the second evening of December on the M6 Minsk-Grodno highway.
There, in the Ivyevsky district of the Grodno region, a BMW crashed into a logging tractor. The driver of the foreign car died, the second driver was hospitalized.
The incident, which took place at around seven in the evening, was reported on its official Telegram channel by the press service of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the data released by the department, at the specified time a BMW driven by a 51-year-old man was driving along the M1 highway.
The car was moving along the right lane towards Grodno. Near the village of Krupli, the "German" crashed into a passing logging tractor.
As a result of the impact, the tractor overturned. The driver of the car died in the hospital.
A 26-year-old tractor driver was also injured and taken to a medical facility; doctors are currently providing him with the necessary assistance.
