Fraudsters, under the pretext of making money on the stock exchange, lured $6,000 from a resident of Molodechno.
The man took the money on credit. A criminal case has been opened.
The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee reported this on Telegram.
How the scammers operated
A 34-year-old resident of Molodechno received a call via messenger from an unknown person who offered to teach him trading.
The Molodechno resident agreed and began investing. The curator trained the newcomer every day and showed the dynamics of profit growth.
When the savings ran out, the man, on the instructions of his curator, took out a loan of $6,000. The Molodechno resident transferred the loan money to the curator's card.
The man was unable to withdraw the profit. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on fraud on this fact.
