As a TASS source reported, the German and the Frenchman were detained when they tried to take a photo of the launch vehicle.
According to the prosecutor's office of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan, the German's name is Julian Karl Jurgen, and the Frenchman's is Axel Olivier Robert.
They were on the territory of Baikonur without permission, the prosecutor’s office said.
The foreigners were detained on Tuesday, October 29. As a result of the inspection, it was discovered that they were planning to inspect the Energia rocket.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the detainees. After serving their 24-hour administrative arrest, the foreigners left the territory of the cosmodrome.
