According to the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov, the head of the Main Directorate of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Rotchenkov arrived at the scene of the accident, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reports.
As the official explained, the accident occurred because the driver of the car lost control.
As a result, the car ended up in the oncoming traffic lane, where it collided with a road train.
A 50-year-old man was driving the car.
His 43-year-old wife and their 5-year-old child were with him. The family died.
According to preliminary information, the accident could have been caused by extreme wear of the rear tires of the car and the slippery road surface.
An investigative task force worked at the scene of the accident to establish all the circumstances.
A fundamental assessment will be given to the actions of officials responsible for the maintenance of roads.
