A resident of Molodechno wanted to make money on the Internet and became a victim of fraud.

Fraudsters swindled almost 2,000 rubles from a Molodechno resident.

The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee reported this on Telegram.

How the scammers operated

A 37-year-old resident of Molodechno came across a website offering additional income and contacted the manager.

The Molodechno resident was required to order goods at his own expense for a percentage of the transaction in order to help sellers improve sales data.

Tasks arrived in the messenger every day, the man willingly spent his money in exchange for low interest rates.

As a result, the Molodechno resident decided to place a large order and transferred 1,500 rubles. He never saw any profit.

In total, the scammers swindled almost 2,000 rubles from the man.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on this fact.
