On the evening of October 27, information about an attempted armed breakthrough across the Russian border appeared on the Telegram channel of the region’s top official.
The Bryansk Governor stated that the attempt was thwarted by forces of the regional Border Directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation, units of the Russian army and the Russian National Guard.
According to Bogomaz, this happened in the area of one of the settlements of the Klimovsky district. We are talking about the uninhabited settlement of Manev.
The head of the highest executive body of the Bryansk region added: the Russian side inflicted fire damage on the enemy.
Bogomaz called the current situation in the Klimovsky district stable.
According to the Russian statesman, the situation is under the control of the Operational Headquarters forces in the region.
