By his actions, the man violated paragraph 2 of Decree No. 9 of 17.03.1997, according to which the production and sale of the established uniform is carried out exclusively by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the State Border Committee, the State Security Committee and other military formations and paramilitary organizations.

For illegal production and sale of the form, administrative liability is provided under Part 1 of Article 24.28 of the Code of Administrative Offenses: a fine of up to 30 base units (up to 1.2 thousand rubles) with or without confiscation of the subject of the administrative offense.

The seller said he was unaware that selling police uniforms was illegal.
