How a Russian woman tricked Wildberries
According to the Krasnoyarsk Territory Prosecutor's Office, a 23-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk registered with the Wildberries online store and after choosing a payment method, noticed an unusual glitch.
The citizen saw that when adding goods to the “basket”, their status changes to “paid” without withdrawing money from the card.
Instead of disclosing her vulnerability to the support service, the woman continued to “buy” things without paying for them.
Then the "purchases" became daily. The girl took a lot of goods from Wildberries, including cosmetics, bed linen, gadgets and jewelry.
The list ended with a hundred items and a check of 1.2 million rubles, when the online store discovered a glitch and blocked the user's account, MIA " Russia Today " quotes a message from the prosecutor's office of Krasnoyarsk Krai.
It turned out that the young woman was selling stolen items on other online platforms.
