In Khabarovsk this morning, October 3, a musical comedy theater was burning in open flames.
By now, rescuers have extinguished the open fire, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported on its official Telegram channel.
According to the data released by the department, the building's siding and roof were on fire. The total area of the fire was 4,000 square meters.
More than 60 specialists and 15 units of equipment fought the fire, including high-altitude equipment.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations also reported that the roof over the theater foyer collapsed, and the facade and outer wall of the building collapsed.
In addition, four gas cylinders exploded while extinguishing the fire, the press service reports.
The ministry later said the fire had been contained to 4,000 square metres.
It is known that there were three people in the theatre; they were evacuated before the rescuers arrived.
The two men received medical assistance at the scene, and the injured woman was taken to hospital.
Experts are currently investigating the cause of the fire and the circumstances of the incident.
