How a Belarusian sold a rented car
The director of a private company contacted the Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk.
The applicant reported that the client did not return the rented car on time and stopped communicating.
Detectives detained a 38-year-old resident of the Gomel region. It turned out that he sold the car in a neighboring country for the equivalent of 60,000 Belarusian rubles.
As the detainee said, he found a buyer for a car without documents in a thematic messenger group.
The man managed to spend part of the proceeds to pay off debts. Now he is a defendant in a criminal case of fraud.
It is noted that the man had already been prosecuted for a similar crime.
