The Grodno Region Criminal Investigation Department has detained a suspect in the murder of a missing 59-year-old resident of the Korelichi District, whose disappearance was reported to the police in March.

What happened
In March, the police received a report about the disappearance of a 59-year-old resident of the Korelichi district.
A friend of the man filed a complaint. His whereabouts could not be determined, but the search continued.
Various versions were considered, including a criminal one. It was later confirmed.
A 52-year-old neighbor of the missing man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The men occasionally drank together. In mid-March, a conflict occurred between them that ended in murder.
To hide the traces of the crime, the perpetrator took the victim's body half a kilometer away in a garden wheelbarrow, dumped it in a dry well, covered it with construction waste, and drowned the wheelbarrow in a body of water.
