In the city of Soligorsk (Minsk region), local residents saved a boy and a girl.
The boys nearly drowned in a technical pond. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 11.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus on its official Telegram channel, the children were rescued from the reservoir by eyewitnesses.
Before the ambulance team arrived, rescuers and city residents carried out resuscitation measures.
From the details of the incident it is known that on that day the young resident of the regional center wanted to go swimming.
When he got to the shore, he slipped and started to drown. The girl tried to save him, but she started to drown herself.
Local residents who were nearby came to the aid of the children. The boys were taken to the hospital.
A little later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that, according to updated information, the children were playing in the yard. At some point, they headed to a pond, where the boy decided to swim.
