Late on Friday and early on Saturday, two serious traffic accidents occurred in the Tolochin district of the Vitebsk region.
One of them involved an elk, a foreign car and a motorcycle, the second – a walk-behind tractor. Unfortunately, in all cases people were injured.
The press service of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Vitebsk Region reported on the incidents in its official Telegram channel.
The first accident took place on September 6 at approximately 11:20 p.m. on the M1 highway.
At the specified time, a Honda motorcycle was riding there, driven by a 29-year-old biker.
At some point, the guy ran over a moose lying on the road, which, according to preliminary information, was hit by a Mercedes moving in the same direction in front of him.
As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were hospitalized, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate noted.
The second accident occurred at half past nine in the morning on Saturday, September 7.
The accident site is near house No. 30, located on Vishnevaya Street in the village of Zelenoe.
At that time, a 32-year-old man was riding a walk-behind tractor. While turning right, he lost control of the machine and overturned.
As a result of the incident, the citizen was hospitalized, the department noted.
