US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced another package of military aid to Ukraine totaling half a billion dollars.
According to him, Kyiv will receive armored vehicles, radiation, chemical and biological protection equipment, and shells.
As part of the increased military assistance announced by President Biden on September 26, the United States is providing another significant package of urgently needed weapons and equipment to our Ukrainian partners, the TASS agency quotes the Secretary of State as saying.
Blinken noted that weapons are being sent to Ukraine from American warehouses.
He added: Kyiv will receive shells for the HIMARS MLRS, 155 mm and 105 mm caliber artillery ammunition, and HARM anti-radar missiles.
UAVs and countermeasures, MRAP armored personnel carriers with protection against mines and ambush attacks, and HMMWV armored vehicles are also being sent to the overseas Slavic country.
In addition, Kyiv is being provided with radiation, chemical and biological protection equipment, AT-4, TOW and Javelin anti-tank missile systems.
The new aid package also includes various military equipment and spare parts.
