The President-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, made an important statement regarding Ukraine.

He said that, likely, as soon as he officially takes office as head of state, American aid to Kyiv will be reduced.

I am actively trying to put an end to the war, if I can, the TASS agency quotes the politician as saying.

When asked about plans to provide military aid to Ukraine, Trump responded that the latter may no longer have to rely on it.

At the very least, the speaker noted, there probably won’t be the same level of support from Washington after he takes office as president.

Donald Trump has previously stated on numerous occasions that as US President he would be able to resolve the Ukrainian conflict within 24 hours and force both sides to sit down at the negotiating table.
