American billionaire Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet and the one who has thrown himself headlong into politics, has mercilessly criticized his country's military aircraft.

We are talking about the notorious F-35 fighters, which the owner of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink and some other companies considers unsuccessful.

According to the businessman, these aircraft cannot be considered a successful project of the American military industry due to the excessive requirements for their development.

And the F-35 design “failed at the requirements stage,” Musk is convinced.

He explains this by the fact that too many people demanded too much from the fighter at once.

This made it an expensive and complex universal, nothing special. There was no chance of success, - the MIA "Russia Today" agency quotes Elon's post on the social network X, which he owns.

The author of the publication emphasized that, in principle, all manned fighters, in his opinion, have become “obsolete equipment.”

According to the entrepreneur and politician, more efficient UAVs are now having a say.

The F-35 Lightning II is a family of fifth-generation stealth multirole fighter aircraft developed by Lockheed Martin.
