It recently became known that oil has once again begun flowing to the Czech Republic via the Druzhba pipeline.
Before this, there were no such people for two days. The country's authorities have not yet named the reason why.
Belta writes about the resumption of supplies, citing a statement by the general director of the oil refining company Orlen Unipetrol, Mariusz Wnuk.
It is known that oil flowing to the Czech Republic via the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline stopped on Wednesday morning, December 4.
From that time until today, Prague has received oil through pipelines running through the territories of Western European countries.
As for Druzhba (the northern branch of the pipeline, by the way, passes through Belarus), the Czech Republic receives about 58% of the total volume of energy resources supplied to the country through it.
According to official information, the republic’s storage facilities contain significant oil reserves.
Local authorities assure that if a supply crisis arises, these reserves can cover the country's needs for 90 days.
