Finland is on the verge of making a surprise decision on the issue of refugees from Ukraine.
If the local authorities accept it, then Kyiv will clearly not like such a step.
We are talking about the return of Ukrainian refugees to their homeland.
This information is being disseminated by the STT agency with reference to the Finnish Migration Service (Migri).
Finland may again decide to return people to Ukraine, but, according to the migration service, the threshold for this is still very high, MIA Rossiya Segodnya quotes the publication.
Why did Helsinki raise such an unpleasant issue for Ukraine?
The answer to STT was given by the head of the Migri expulsion department, Olli Koskipirtti.
According to him, the new policy towards Ukrainian refugees is based on the fact that there are areas in Ukraine that are not affected by the conflict and people can return.
He reported that this year three decisions were made regarding the return of Ukrainians to their homeland.
One of them is connected with the commission of crimes.
The man committed "crimes so serious in Finland that public order and safety are at risk," Koskipirtti explained.
He added: the threat is so great that the decision to deport a Ukrainian could be made regardless of the situation in his country.
