It recently became known that the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, was dismissed.
The official wording is that the head of government is moving to another job.
This was reported by MIA "Russia Today" with reference to representatives of the press service of the President of the Republic Sadyr Japarov.
They noted that the head of state signed the corresponding decree.
According to the document, Akylbek Japarov was relieved of his post as head of government – head of the presidential administration “in connection with his transfer to another job.”
The general public has not yet been informed about the exact job to which the former prime minister has transferred.
It should be noted that, according to Kyrgyz law, the resignation of the head of government does not entail the resignation of other members of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Akylbek Japarov has led the government of the republic since 2021.
During this period, according to local media, the country demonstrated stable economic growth while reducing poverty levels.
