The leader of the Shiite Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrallah, called Israel's actions in Lebanon a declaration of war.

His televised address was broadcast on Al Manar TV channel.

What Nasrallah Said About Israel's Actions

Hezbollah's leader said the movement views Israel's actions as crossing all red lines.

Nasrallah also called Israel's actions a terrorist operation and a deliberate massacre.

In relation to the Lebanese state, this means a de facto declaration of war, he said.

On September 17-18, pagers and radios were detonated in different areas of Lebanon.

According to official information, 32 people were killed and more than 3,000 were injured.

The Lebanese government and Hezbollah have blamed Israel. Israeli authorities have neither confirmed nor denied their involvement.

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, called what happened in Lebanon a monstrous terrorist attack and an attempt to ignite a major conflict.
