British journalists have learned that US President-elect Donald Trump may secretly transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
In particular, the Express publication shared such information with the general public.
It quotes military expert Nicholas Drummond as suggesting a "very secretive" deal could have been struck.
And suddenly Ukraine will become very strong. Zelensky can say: "We have nuclear weapons, and if you attack us, we will bomb Moscow," the expert is quoted by MIA "Russia Today".
He named the condition under which Trump could transfer nuclear weapons to Kyiv: that the latter not join NATO.
By the way. Earlier, another British publication, the Times, stated that Ukraine could independently develop a nuclear bomb.
The newspaper cited a report by Ukrainian researchers prepared for the Ministry of Defense as the primary source of such information.
According to this document, Kyiv will need several months to create such a weapon.
But this option is called a "fallback" - in case the United States cuts military aid.
For reference
Nuclear weapons are weapons of mass destruction, the action of which is based on the damaging factors of a nuclear or thermonuclear explosion.
