Consequences of Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the death toll has risen to 274.
Among the dead were 21 children and 39 women. 1,024 people were injured.
The department noted that Israel is striking homes, medical centers, ambulances, and vehicles carrying people fleeing.
Lebanon's Civil Defense Directorate said the strikes caused fires in several homes, factories and warehouses in the Bekaa and Nabatieh provinces.
The department also reported that a search and rescue operation is ongoing at the site of the building collapse as a result of an attack on a Beirut suburb on September 20.
The United Nations expressed deep concern about the escalation.
The strikes over the weekend were the most intense since the war in Gaza began, according to Ravina Shamdasani, a spokeswoman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
