Current US President Joe Biden has secretly asked Congress for an additional $24 billion.
He wants to use this money to support Ukraine, as well as to replenish the Pentagon's reserves.
The secret was made public by the well-known publication Politico, which gained access to a document from the White House Budget Office.
Biden has secretly made a long-term request to lawmakers for an additional $24 billion in aid to Ukraine and to replace American weapons sent to fight Russia, MIA Rossiya Segodnya cites the publication.
According to Politico, the document is an addendum to a new piece of government funding.
It is stated that there is a possibility that this part of the funding will be accepted in December.
It is noted that 2/3 of Biden's requests relate to replenishing the US Department of Defense's stockpiles.
Of the estimated expenses, $8 billion is planned to be spent on implementing an initiative related to supporting Kyiv.
