The staff of one of the Chinese zoos resorted to a great trick in order to attract as many visitors as possible.
They came up with the idea of repainting dogs to pass them off as pandas. But the "trick" didn't work - the deception was quickly revealed.
As reported by the ONT TV channel with reference to the British publication Daily Mail, visitors to the zoo suspected that the “panda cubs” were not who they were presented as.
Citizens were particularly surprised by a feature that was not typical for bamboo bears: they stuck out their tongues and breathed heavily.
As a result, the competent authorities began an investigation. It showed that, indeed, people were shown not pandas, but repainted dogs.
The zoo employees were detained. They confessed: they repainted two chow-chow dogs in the typical panda colors.
The disgraced employees of the institution also said that they did not tell visitors to the zoo that it was a panda in front of them.
