It is possible that the increase in morbidity is one of the consequences of natural disasters.

How People Get Infected With Deadly Bacteria

The Florida Department of Health emphasized that infection with the microorganism occurs as a result of Vibrio vulnificus entering the human body when eating raw seafood.

A similar consequence can occur if sea water gets on open wounds.

If a person has a weakened immune system, it is possible that dangerous bacteria will enter the bloodstream. This can cause a rise in temperature and a drop in blood pressure. Serious skin problems may also occur.

When the infection gets into the blood, death occurs in 50 percent of cases, MIA " Russia Today " cites the warning from the above-mentioned Florida department.

As reported by the Russian news agency, earlier the following information appeared in the American media: the hurricanes left behind warm flood waters, which are an ideal environment for the reproduction of dangerous microorganisms.
