Why a cargo plane could have been shot down

The Russian news agency TASS drew attention to the report from the Sudan War Monitor portal.

The latest source reports that the aircraft may have been shot down by mistake.

The authors of the publication do not rule out that the Rapid Reaction Force, which is taking part in the conflict in Sudan, mistook the cargo plane for a military one.

According to a report from a foreign portal, an Il-76 was shot down. It is noted that one of the crew members had a Russian passport, and another had a certificate of chief engineer of one of the companies.

There is no information about survivors among those who were on board the crashed plane. It is reported that almost the entire aircraft burned.
