Hamas has confirmed that its leader Yahya Sinwar is no longer alive.
In addition, the Palestinian movement declared its intention to continue “following the path laid out by former leaders.”
The corresponding statement was made by the organization's Politburo member Khalil al-Heya, TASS reports.

The Palestinian movement has stated that it has no intention of releasing the hostages until Israel withdraws its armed forces from the Gaza Strip and releases Palestinian prisoners from prison.
The organization spoke about its readiness to continue the confrontation with the Israeli side.
Hamas stressed that Sinwar's death would only strengthen the movement and make the organization's representatives even more resilient and determined.
